The process is simple. Check our latest vacancies on the ‘’Job Openings‘’ page, and apply for a suitable role. You need to upload your resume, trade certificates (if applicable), and a few more details. We’ll review your profile and invite you for an online interview.

If you can’t see any positions relevant to your experience, please send your resume to jobs@dayjob.com.au. We’ll contact you once we have any exciting opportunities matching your skills.

After a successful interview, we will prepare an in-person meeting between you and the employer.

Even though the first interview is conducted online, please treat it with the same professionalism as an in-person meeting. You can read our tips of how to prepare for an online interview here.

Here are some simple guidelines to follow:

Preparation: Ensure you’ve downloaded and set up the Zoom Application on your device well in advance. While it’s free and available on computers and mobile phones, we suggest using a computer for optimal experience. Assure that you have a stable internet connection. We’ll also send instructions before the job interview.

Environment: Choose a quiet, distraction-free spot for the interview to avoid unnecessary disruptions.

Be ahead of time: Log into the online meeting 5 minutes ahead of the scheduled time. Check that your camera and microphone are functioning correctly.

Dress Code: While it’s a virtual interaction, wearing professional clothing can boost your confidence and demonstrate your seriousness about the job opportunity.

Know the Role: Familiarise yourself with the job description and prepare for the interviewer’s potential questions. Think about some questions related to the job to showcase your interest and engagement.
