Wood Machinist / CNC Operator Job Overview:

Weโ€™re seeking a skilled Wood Machinist / CNC Operator to join a reputable joinery and cabinetry team. Wood Machinist / CNC Operator Key Duties:

    • Operate and maintain a flatbed CNC machine for joinery production

    • Receive, grade, and store timber deliveries appropriately

    • Cut, sand, and prep timber components for machining

    • Accurately follow and complete weekly cutting lists

    • Execute a variety of CNC programs to meet job specifications

    • Perform regular quality checks on machined parts

    • Collaborate with team members to complete custom job orders

    • Maintain a clean and safe work area

Wood Machinist / CNC Operator Essentials:

    • Minimum 2 yearsโ€™ experience in joinery or wood machining

    • Proven experience operating CNC woodworking machinery

    • Excellent attention to detail and quality control

    • Computer literacy and ability to run machine software

    • Ability to inspect output under tight deadlines

    • Willingness to work overtime as required

    • Reside in Australia with valid work rights

    • Positive attitude and team-first approach
