Wood CNC Operator Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator with strong programming and precision manufacturing skills to join the production team. Youโ€™ll be working primarily with diamond panels and other exhibition materials, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency in all machining processes. This role suits a detail-focused operator who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Wood CNC Operator Key Duties:

    • Operate and program CNC machinery to job specifications

    • Interpret G-code and technical drawings

    • Maintain high accuracy and quality, particularly with diamond panels

    • Monitor and adjust tool wear offsets for optimal performance

    • Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning

    • Troubleshoot machine and program issues as required

    • Adhere to OH&S and WH&S standards at all times

    • Assist with general warehouse operations, including forklift use

Wood CNC Operator Essential:

    • Proven ability to interpret G-code and job drawings

    • Strong understanding of precision manufacturing processes

    • High attention to detail and commitment to quality

    • Excellent organisational and housekeeping skills

    • Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)

    • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
