Stonemason / Installer Job Overview:
Join a growing team of professionals producing and installing high-end natural stone products, while building a career in one of the leading stone industry jobs in Australia. This hands-on role covers fabrication in the Derrimut workshop and onsite installation around Melbourne. You’ll work with premium natural materials and be part of a company that values precision, safety, and team effort.
Stonemason / Installer Key Duties:

- Fabrication of stone benchtops for residential and commercial projects

- Working with natural stone, porcelain and recon etc
-
- Cutting, Gluing, shaping & polishing stone using various machines and hand tools
-
- Involvement in all aspects of the fabrication process
-
- Installation of stone products on residential and commercial sites

- Interpret plans and ensure quality standards are met
-
- Maintain tools and equipment to high safety standards
-
- Liaise with clients, supervisors, and trades
-
- Solve onsite challenges with initiative
-
- Keep workspace clean and organised
-
- Deliver consistent, quality finishes
Stonemason / Installer Essentials:
-
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the stone sector
-
- A stonemasonry trade qualification or proven experience within the industry

- Strong understanding of the benchtop fabrication process
-
- Experience with installation on commercial & residential sites
-
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
-
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic

- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team

- Flexibility for overtime and occasional Saturdays

- Must be Australian citizen or hold relevant working visa
