About the Role:
As a key member of the team, you will be involved in the fabrication and installation of benchtops for both residential and commercial projects. Your responsibilities will include cutting, shaping, and polishing stone using various types of machinery, contributing to the creation of uniquely designed kitchens and other stone-related projects.
Schedule: Mon – Fri, 7AM – 3PM
Stonemason Installer Main Duties
- Fabrication and installation of Benchtops for residential and commercial projects
- Cutting, shaping and polishing stone with different types of machinery and hand tools
- Measuring, glueing and manufacturing custom stone products
- Working on custom-designed kitchens and other stone projects
- Operating in all aspects of the production process
- Collaborate with clients, contractors and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
- Utilise specialised tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete benchtop installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines throughout the installation process to maintain a safe work environment.
Essential
- A stonemasonry trade qualification or proven experience within the industry
- At least 2 years of experience as a stonemason installer or with benchtop installations.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read plans and measurements
- A passion for stone craftsmanship
- Current working rights in Australia
