Position: Stonemason / Fabricator
Location: Dandenong, VIC
Job Type: Full time
Starting Time: ASAP
Shift Schedule: Mon to Fri
Salary: $40-$45 Per hour plus Super & OT
Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and installation of natural stone for residential and commercial projects
- Cutting, shaping and polishing stone with different types of machinery and hand tools
- Measuring, glueing and manufacturing custom stone products
- Working on custom-designed kitchens and other stone projects
- Operating in all aspects of the production process
- Occasionally travelling to job sites for installing
- Liaising and corresponding with various clients and site managers
Requirements:
- A stonemasonry trade qualification or proven experience within the industry
- Strong attention to detail
- Installation experience is preferred
- Ability to read plans and measurements
- Experience operating cnc bridge saws, water jet cutting Machines & other machinery is highly desirable
- Proficient in reading and interpreting plans and drawings
- Current working rights in Australia
