Stonemason Fabricator Job Overview:
We are seeking a Stonemason fabricator to join our team. You will be working both in our newly opened factory and onsite fabricating and installing stone benchtops. Training will be provided.
Stonemason Fabricator Key Duties:
- Fabrication of stone benchtops for residential and commercial projects using natural stone, porcelain, Dekton etc.
- Cutting, Gluing, shaping & polishing stone using various machines and hand tools
- Involvement in all aspects of the fabrication process including glueing, polishing etc
- Installation of stone products on residential and commercial premises as needed
- Packing stone & slabs onto A frames in preparation for delivery
- Follow OH&S directions and maintain a safe working environment
Stonemason Fabricator Essentials:
- Proven experience in stone benchtop fabrication (trade qualification preferred)
- Strong understanding of the full factory fabrication process
- Skilled in cutting, shaping, polishing, and finishing stone surfaces
- Confident using hand tools and preferably operating machinery (e.g. bridge saws, polishers, routers)
- Experience working with natural stone, porcelain, and engineered stone
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and job sheets
- Bridge saw, CNC, or Waterjet experience is highly regarded
- Australian working rights
- White Card
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
