About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Stonemason / Fabricator to join the team in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will have a formal qualification in stonemasonry or extensive experience working with stone benchtops in the kitchen industry, the position is a mixture of fabrication in the factory and onsite installations for clients around the region. With a 4 day work week, we think it’s an awesome offer.

Schedule:  Mon -Thurs, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Stonemason/Fabricator Key Duties:

• Fabrication and installation of Benchtops for residential and commercial projects
• Cutting, shaping and polishing stone with different types of machinery and hand tools
• Measuring, glueing and manufacturing custom stone products
• Working on custom-designed kitchens and other stone projects
• Operating in all aspects of the production process
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
• Utilise specialised tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete benchtop installations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines throughout the installation process to maintain a safe work environment.

Stonemason / Fabricator Essentials:

• A stonemasonry trade qualification or proven experience within the industry
• At least 2 years of experience with benchtop installations and fabrication.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read plans and measurements
• A passion for stone craftsmanship
• Current working rights in Australia
