JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Stone Fabricator to join a busy Brisbane-based workshop. You’ll primarily work with natural stone in a factory setting, crafting premium benchtops for high-end builds. While the role is mainly fabrication, occasional on-site installations will be required. If you have solid benchtop experience and confidence on machines like bridge saws and routers, this is your chance to contribute to top-tier projects in a quality-focused team.
STONEMASON FABRICATOR KEY DUTIES
- Fabricate and shape natural stone benchtops
- Perform undermounts, topmounts, and bullnose finishes
- Operate bridge saws and routers (GMM preferred)
- Use and maintain CNC machinery (Comandulli Speedy experience ideal)
- Read and follow detailed job specifications
- Conduct occasional on-site installation work
- Maintain a clean, safe work area
Collaborate with factory staff to meet deadlines
ESSENTIALS
- 3-4 years’ stone fabrication experience preferred
- Skilled in benchtop manufacturing and finishing
- Bridge saw, router, and CNC machine operation experience
- Familiarity with GMM saws and Comandulli polishers advantageous
- Manual driver’s licence
- Good attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and contribute
- Full working rights or sponsorship-eligible
