Site Measurer / Draftperson Key Duties:
- Travelling across job sites, measuring stone benchtops for different projects.
- Reading and interpreting plans and drawings and using the latest technology
- Take measurements using digital templating tools and laser device.
- Produce accurate shop drawings and cutting files (DXF/CAD) for fabrication.
- Liaising and corresponding with various clients and site managers.
- Check measurements, slab sizes, and material selections for accuracy.
Site Measurer / Draftperson Essentials:
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Alphacam, or similar CAD software
- Skilled in using digital technology for measurements such as Proliner or lasers
- Proficient in reading and interpreting plans and drawings
- Experience in the stone industry
- A valid driver’s licence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated person who works well with minimal supervision
