LOCATION: Kewdale Perth, WA
SHIFT SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 8:00am-04:30pm
Service Technician Main Duties:
- Reporting to the Service Manager, this position involves all aspects of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fitting both within the workshop and out at customer locations
- Inspection, repair and maintenance of industrial machinery
- The role involves frequent contact with customers. As such you will be expected to be well spoken and well presented in all aspects of your dealings with internal and external customers
Service Technician will be responsible for:
- Mechanical repair and breakdown maintenance of industrial machinery
- Preventative maintenance and servicing
- Electrical preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Workshop repairs and testing
- Reporting on service work – input of information into company databases to grow knowledge
- Accurate time and record keeping – keeping accurate records to assist in fair billing of clientele.
ESSENTIAL:
- Relevant Trade qualifications
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical understanding, knowledge of industrial and machine tools used in engineering
- Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar role
- Experience with Industrial Machinery
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot faults and establish repair options
- Proven ability to carry out repair options quickly and efficiently
- Ability to machine and manufacture minor components
- Sound knowledge and experience in servicing electro-mechanical
- Current drivers licence
- The successful candidate will be confident in the use of computers
- Minimum C class driver’s license
PREFERRED:
- Restricted Electrical license
- Australian Electrical Fitter trade certificate
- Current First aid
- Current Low Voltage Rescue and Resuscitation
REMUNERATION:

$75,000 – $80,000 + Super
