Senior Estimator Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Estimator with a strong background in the stone industry. In this role, you’ll take ownership of estimating high-end stone projects from tender through to job preparation. You will play a crucial role in preparing accurate quotes, managing nesting files, and ensuring seamless coordination with the production team.
Senior Estimator Key Duties:

- Accurately estimate costs for stone benchtop and surface projects

- Prepare and manage nesting files for production

- Liaise with clients, builders, and internal teams

- Interpret architectural and shop drawings
-
- Prepare detailed scope of works and quotations
-
- Assist with job planning and project timelines

- Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes

- Provide drafting input where required (bonus skill)
Senior Estimator Essential:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in stone estimating

- Strong knowledge of stone products and fabrication techniques

- Proficiency with nesting software and estimating tools

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Drafting experience highly regarded

- Full working rights in Australia (visa sponsorship available)
