Lead Stone Benchtop Installer Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Lead Stone Benchtop Installer with strong communication, technical accuracy and leadership capability. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact on-site, liaising with builders, cabinet makers and high-end clients – so clear and confident communication is essential. Exceptional spoken and written communication skills are essential, as you will represent the business as the lead on detailed and high-precision installs.
If you have an existing team you’d like to bring with you, we’re open to supporting that arrangement.
Schedule: Mon -Thurs, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Lead Stone Benchtop Installer Key Duties:
- Lead and oversee stone benchtop installations for residential and commercial projects
- Communicate clearly with architects, cabinet makers, builders and clients regarding plans, measurements and expectations
- Measure, template and install stone benchtops with a high attention to detail
- Operate stone fabrication equipment and use hand tools for polishing, shaping and adjustments where necessary
- Troubleshoot and solve on-site technical issues efficiently and professionally
- Ensure all work aligns with quality, safety and client requirements
- Support and guide junior installers or apprentices when required
Lead Stone Benchtop Installer Essentials:
- A trade qualification in stonemasonry or extensive industry experience
- Minimum 5+ years installing stone benchtops
- Ability to read and interpret detailed plans, drawings and measurements
- Strong detailed craftsmanship and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and professionalism – essential for dealing with high-end clients
- Full working rights in Australia (Sponsorship available for the right candidate)
