Schedule: 40 hrs
Factory Manager / Fabricator Key Duties:
-
- Provide direction and leadership to Factory Team, Machine operators & other staff
-
- supervise and support staff in timely and accurate completion of work assignments
-
- Regularly work on the tools as required
-
- Managing a team of 5-10 people
-
- implement systems and processes that drive consistency, efficiency and quality
-
- Oversee maintenance of equipment
-
- Ensure effective skills and training programs are met and implemented
-
- Manage and oversee Occupational Health & Safety compliance
-
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of Factory
Factory Manager / Fabricator Essential:
-
- Previous experience working as a Factory Manager Preferred
-
- Experience working in the Stone industry is a must
-
- Strong understanding of the Benchtop fabrication process from start to finish
-
- Strong leadership and training abilities and be able to build and manage effective teams.
-
- Decision-making skills are important and the candidate should be able to manage people effectively.

- Machinery knowledge is highly desirable

- Be highly organised and have the ability to coordinate Factory workflows to achieve maximum efficiency.

- Forklift licence preferable
