Electrical Fitter / Service Technician Key Duties:
- Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic fitting both in workshop and at customer sites
- Inspection, repair, and maintenance of industrial machinery
- Extensive customer interaction, requiring a professional demeanour
- Mechanical and electrical repair and breakdown maintenance
- Preventative maintenance and servicing
- Workshop repairs, testing, and reporting
- Inputting service information into databases for knowledge growth
- Accurate timekeeping and record-keeping for fair client billing
Essential:
- Relevant Trade qualifications
- Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Previous experience in a similar role with industrial machinery
- Quick troubleshooting skills for fault identification
- Proven ability to efficiently execute repair options
- Capability to machine and manufacture minor components
- Sound knowledge and experience in electro-mechanical servicing
- Possession of a valid driver’s licence (Minimum C class)
- Comfortable and confident with computer usage
Preferred:
- Restricted Electrical licence
- Australian Electrical Fitter trade certificate
- Current First aid
- Current Low Voltage Rescue and Resuscitation
Remuneration:
- $40 – $45 per hour plus super & company vehicle
