CNC Waterjet Operator – VIC

LOCATION: Truganina, Melbourne

CNC WATERJET OPERATOR MAIN DUTIES:

• Set up & operate CNC waterjet machines according to benchtop specifications, ensuring alignment and calibration for optimal performance.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints  accurately to determine machining requirements and specifications.
• Operate machines proficiently to fabricate benchtop parts with precision and accuracy, maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process.
• Monitor machine operations closely, making necessary adjustments
• Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring strict compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and thorough cleaning of machines to uphold their optimal performance and longevity.
• General factory duties
• Working in a team and also independently

ESSENTIAL:

• A stonemasonry trade qualification or proven experience within the stone industry
• At least 2 years of experience operating CNC waterjet machines
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read plans and measurements
• A passion for stone craftsmanship
• Current working rights in Australia

PREFERRED:

• Drivers Licence
• Forklift Licence (desirable but not required)
• White card
