It has a strong commitment to R&D, utilizing high-end design, simulation, and analysis software packages. For almost 40 years, they have manufactured world-class military equipment. Known for their innovative designs, this company has continued to expand its product range and reach internationally.
To further enhance their production capabilities and maintain their competitive edge, they are looking to incorporate advanced CNC Metal Machinist expertise into their team.
CNC Metal Machinist Key Duties:
- Maintaining and operating variety of CNC and manual machines
- Machining activities, using a variety of CNC and manual machines
Essential:
- QF Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical, or equivalent
- A minimum of three years experience in the setup and operation of the following machines
- Mazak Variaxis (matrix 2 controller)
- Mazak Integrex (matrix 2 controller)
- Extensive experience in CAM programming (Preferably GibbsCam)
- Experience in ISO programming
- Experience operating simultaneous 5 axis machining
Preferred:
- Extensive experience in the setup and operation of the following machines
- Mazak Quickturn (smart controller)
- Mazak Quickturn (smooth Controller)
- FANUC controlled machines (3 axis mill)
- Experience in Trochoidal milling.
- Ability to diagnose faults, perform operational maintenance of machines, overhaul and repair mechanical parts and fluid power equipment.
- Competence operating in a small team
Remuneration:
- Salary: $30 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
