About The Role:
In this integral position, you will set up and operate CNC waterjet and bridge saw machines tailored to benchtop specifications. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring each machine is correctly aligned and calibrated to perform optimally. You will interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately determine machining requirements and specifications. Your daily tasks will involve operating machines proficiently to fabricate benchtop parts with precision, maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process.
Schedule: Mon – Fri, 7AM – 3PM
CNC Machine Operator Key Duties:
- Set up & operate CNC machines such as waterjet and bridge saw according to benchtop specifications, ensuring alignment and calibration for optimal performance.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints accurately to determine machining requirements and specifications.
- Operate machines proficiently to fabricate benchtop parts with precision and accuracy, maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process.
- Monitor machine operations closely, making necessary adjustments
- Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring strict compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and thorough cleaning of machines to uphold their optimal performance and longevity.
- General factory duties
- Working in a team and also independently
Essential
- A stonemasonry trade qualification or proven experience within the stone industry
- At least 2 years of experience operating CNC waterjet and bridge saw machines
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read plans and measurements
- A passion for stone craftsmanship
- Current working rights in Australia
