Job Title: Bar Supervisor 

Work Schedule: Flexibility to work varying shifts over 7 day roster from Breakfast till late

Salary: $30-$35, OT

BAR SUPERVISOR MAIN DUTIES:

• Supervise and lead bar staff, ensuring smooth operations during service hours
• Train, mentor, and motivate team members to maintain the high standards of Italian hospitality
• Manage inventory, including stock control and ordering Italian beverage supplies
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a warm and welcoming manner
• Maintain cleanliness, ambiance, and Italian authenticity in the bar area
• Devise and implement strategies to promote Italian beverage sales and enhance profitability
• Collaborate with management to create Italian-themed promotions or events

BAR SUPERVISOR ESSENTIALS:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a bar, preferably in an Italian restaurant setting
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and lead a team
• In-depth knowledge of Italian beverages, including wines, liqueurs, and aperitifs
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills, reflecting Italian hospitality values
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Proficiency in cash handling, managing transactions, and using POS systems
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a bustling restaurant environment
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification

REMUNERATION:

• $30 – $35 p/h plus Super and Bonuses
